We learned 20th century movements: Impressionism, Post Impressionism, Fauvism, Cubism, Expressionism. I was impressed by expressionism because artists like Edvard Munch expressed their feelings in their artworks. I like to express my feelings without words. In my drawing I combined the styles of Henri Matisse and Claude Monet. I could choose a style. Firstly, I wanted to draw a landscape in fauvistic style, then I wanted to use pointillistic style. Later I decided to combine both these styles. I wanted to express my feelings towards nature. My idea was to show people how beautiful our school garden is. The most challenging was combination of two absolutely different styles. I think I drew the rose bush best of all. I would like to add some other colours too. In this drawing I used my skills of drawing with the use of bright colours, contour lines, short brushstrokes, etc. My strategy during the semster was to make my sketchbook interesting and organised.
I like expressionism. Most of my paintings are expressive. I have my own style. I don’t decide anything beforehand – I just draw my feelings and emotions. Nothing was difficult.

From self-assessment and reflectionI learned that information in my Developmental Workbook should be clear and ideas should be well evaluated clearly. Next year I will have to complete everything clearly, neatly, efficiently, consistantly and nicely. Impressionism became my favourite art movement. My favourite artist is Van Gogh because he made many paintings very differently. I had ideas and imagination that helped me to create my own painting. I used medium brush strokes and bright colours. I followed features of Matisse style. It made me think of principles of art deeper and better. The most challenging was outting my imagination into the paper. I would like to change lots of stuff. People who saw my painting said: “Not bad”. I think I did a good job in colouring. What I learned during the unit is that it’s not so important what you draw, it’s about how you draw. Also I learned that art is not a subject but it’s a special and beautiful part of life which can be made beautifully so there’s still leads to unveil…
I like Impressionism but I do not like to draw in impressionistic style. I just drew random things and everything came to mind step by step. Drawing stars or round shapes was the most difficult. I drew a tree and a mountain well. I would not change anything.
I like to draw in impressionistic and expressionistic styles. Here I used Paul Gaugin's style. I just found a nice place for myself, a chill place with shades and I just drew from there. When I draw, most of the time I express my day - whether it was good or bad. The most challenging in my painting were my classmates - I had to start all over again and again over five times. I have put a lot of work in my landscape but it is still unfinished and it's too late to finish it. If I could change anything I would try to use some mixed colours and not to live blank white spaces. I tried to use bright mixed and unpredictable colours but most of them did not fit together. I'm going to try to draw more clearly.
Fauvism impressed me most because I like bright colours and mixing colours on not on a palette but on a paper. Picasso is my favourite artist even though he isn’t a Fauvist artist. When I was deciding what to draw I thought of my home were I wanted to move. In my drawing I followed stylistic features of Paul Cezanne. After initial drawing I added sun and made the sky blue and pink. The most difficult was making the flowers. If I could change anything I would make the fence better. Adults and friends think my drawing is nice and pretty. I like how I made the colours blend.
Cubism impressed me the most by all the angles you see. But I used Fauvistic style. I wanted to draw a simple thing and I saw a simple flower. I wanted to show how important colours are. The flower is my best artwork.

Mostly I like Fauvism because there are contours and bright colours. My favourite artist is Henry Matisse – I like his paintings. I looked outside at trees and grass and I liked it. I wanted to express my feeling. Most challenging was grass. I think I drew trees well. I think I would change blank places – I would paint whole paper.

I like Fauvism because I like bright colours and fauvistic is bright. My favourite artist is Matisse. He drew fouvistic. I was looking at fauvistic paintings in internet and thhhere were three trees and I liked and I drew themmm. I wanted to draw my Tskneti’s house because I miss it and I want to go there.
I think Impressionism was the most impressive style. I used Henry Matisse's bright colours for my painting. I just thought of mountains and this landscape is my best drawing. The most challenging was to draw an exact semicircle. I was drawing/coloring with straight lines, in one direction. I have some drawings at home, they are all good but I would like to develop my drawing skills a bit.

ჩემზე ყველაზე დიდი შთაბეჭდილება მოახდინა ფოვიზმმა. მომეწონა ანრი მატისი და გამოვიყენე მისი მხატვრული ხერხი. რთული არ იყო. ვფიქრობ, რომ ყველაზე კარგად გამომივიდა ცა, ტყე და ფონი. გოაში გამოვიყენე იმიტომ, რომ მიადვილდება.

I really liked Impressionism because of the short brushstrokes. My drawing doesn’t have a style. I used long and short strokes, light and soft colours and tried to use actual leaves for decoration. I like the soft background and the texture. At first I wanted to draw a rose but then I decided to draw many roses on a sun set. I wanted to express the softer side of me. That’s why I used soft and gentle colours and strokes. The most challenging thing was to find the exact colours that contrast each other. I drew well the grass, because it looks real and the contrast colour of the background. I would change the stems of the roses because they are too long. I looked close at the nature to see how it looks like.
